Lisa is Schwinn, CrossFit level 1 and Watt Bike certified, just to name a few. She's a former track and field All American with over 22 years of helping people get fit. She's trained numerous NBA, NFL and WTA professional athletes and harnesses her incredible body of knowledge every time she coaches. She's all about proper mechanics before increasing intensity. She'll help you focus on body, mind and spirit to achieve your goals!
Originally from the midwest, Ryan has over 15 years of power-lifting experience starting as a football player in high school as well as at the collegiate level. He recently discovered CrossFit and was immediately drawn to the motivation and camaraderie found in the CrossFit community. Ryan is a fitness hat trick as a CF-L1 certified coach, a certified personal trainer and is also pursuing his cycling certification. Ryan seeks to educate his clients about fitness and inspire them to achieve their goals.
 
Elma is a 500 hr Yoga, Pilates & Barre Certified Instructor from Athens, Greece. She was a ballet dancer for 15 years. When she moved to LA she continued her Ashtanga yoga training with Tim Miller. The foundation of her practice combines the physical with an inner emotional and spiritual journey. She is very passionate about teaching and her goal is to help others reach their maximum potential and exceed their limits. She believes it is vital to have a strong connection to the body and love who we are.
Erica Osburn is a South Bay native and is a RYT 200 yoga teacher. Erica discovered yoga in 2010 as a way to unwind and de-stress after long days at her office job. She suffered from anxiety and panic attacks since childhood and realized that her yoga practice provided her with relief. Yoga became more than just a daily practice, as it brought positive changes to her life physically, mentally, and spiritually. Erica’s classes focus on linking the breath to movement, cultivating a good sweat, and allowing a space for personal growth and exploration.
Derek began his fitness journey as a kid with team and board sports. He found Crossfit in 2009 as a supplemental conditioning tool to his powerlifting, but soon realized that Crossfit pushed him further, faster and stronger than other forms of training, A perfectionist when it comes to form and technique, Derek teaches people to become athletes and give them the tools to create and understand their own fitness journey. He believes fitness should be something that you enjoy and cultivate a passion for and that is reflected in his classes. Derek also has completed his 200 hour yoga training with Yogaworks and trains and hand balancing and gymnastic strength elements. 
Renee's passion for health and fitness was the driving force behind her decision to pursue and earn her Bachelors of Exercise Science at Kent State University, Ohio. She also found a new personal pursuit in the gym - weight lifting! It eventually lead her to CrossFit in 2013 and she has never looked back. In order to become better at the sport she took as many classes as possible and sought out everything she could learn from more veteran athletes. She earned her Crossfit level 1 to share her enthusiasm and knowledge of the sport with others. Renee is very passionate about helping athletes develop and hone their skill set and teaching them the importance of proper technique. Renee truly believes that fitness can impact many aspects of a person’s life and ultimately helping them to become a better individual physically and mentally.
Carly’s goal is to assist those who are looking for a deeper transformation in their overall quality of life. As a certified personal trainer and yoga practitioner, Carly crafts a fusion of her diverse healing and strengthening modalities into a routine catered to her client's goal. Carly has been involved in sports since childhood, playing soccer for over 10 years. A few years later she discovered yoga which enriched her approach to working with her clients. Carly is an avid believer that movement is medicine and her effervescent personality brings a balance of hard work and fun to training. Play Hard!
Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Sabrina Mata has an extensive fitness background and her first contact with yoga was in 2002. Always fascinated about the holistic world, she studied Chromotherapy and Reiki while finishing College in Brazil. She moved to Los Angeles and was fortunate enough to experience yoga, as she she learned how it could empower and transform lives. After years of intense practice, in 2015 she took the 500 hours YTT at Yogaworks becoming a registered Instructor through the Yoga Alliance.

Independent Personal Trainers

No unauthorized personal training* of any kind may take place at Thrill without a signed agreement. Doing so will result in a warning followed by immediate termination of membership. However:

  • Thrill allows independent personal trainers to rent monthly space from us.
  • You must be a certified personal trainer and have your own liability insurance.
  • Your clients must all be members.
  • Rates are $99 for first month, $299 for month two and $499 thereafter.
  • Cancel notice is by 15th of month to prevent additional billing.
  • Personal trainers may not have access to specific pieces of equipment during classes.
  • All independent trainers must sign code of conduct. Please e-mail thrillathletics@gmail.com to request consideration.
